There is a big stigma and a lot of misunderstandings about HRT and testosterone

  • You’re gonna have roid rage
  • It’s dangerous and can lead to a heart attack or stroke
  • Your going to have hair growing out of your eyeballs
  • Your voice will change
  • You’ll lose your nuts, you won’t be able to have kids
  • You’ll be crying at lifetime movies
  • It’s just used by meatheads to get bigger
  • ‘“I’m just depressed or anxious”
  • Standard psychological drugs will fix these mood disturbances
  • I’ll go bald

Why does this stigma exist?

Lets set the record straight on use vs. abuse and other anabolics. Now there is still a BIG MISUNDERSTANDING of HRT even by medical professionals.

  • Treating low T w/ anxiety meds/SSRIs
  • Underdosing- poor frequency of dosing

SARMS- why are we thinking of these and should we even bother? What are the benefits of using HRT?

  • Increased mood
  • Libido
  • Energy
  • stress/anxiety
  • Motivational drive
  • Workout recovery
  • Metabolism
  • Lean body mass/bone mass?
  • Sleep
  • Increased activity
  • Increased strength/power
  • Joint/muscle health

What are the risks and side effects of having Low testosterone?

  • Stroke
  • Cardiac dysfunction
  • Sleep apnea
  • Cholesterol
  • Donating blood
  • Blood labs irregular
  • Viscosity of blood

Is there a misunderstanding here? Poor study design and stigmas created from this? What do people need to know before starting HRT/ when should people think about it being a treatment option for them? What factors lead people to have low testosterone?

  • Environmental
  • Stress
  • Nutrition?
    • Certain factors we see here
  • Sleep
  • Working out
  • Overtraining?

Before people just jump into injecting- what baseline measures/lifestyle factors should we look at trying to improve first.

Women- why do they need testosterone? What about birth control? Is that making things better or worse for women’s health? Do they need dosing of different types of hormones for HRT?

  • Side effects for women?
    • Breaking bones/ osteopenia
    • Is this false info from poor study design?
  • Peptides-
    • BP-157- gut health issues?
    • What is the safety of these?
      • Or which ones do we know are safe
