It’s that time of year again when the temperatures are dropping and we’re all gearing up for the holidays…but let’s not forget those who are less fortunate than us. We are extremely lucky to call Concord home, and that’s why we love to give back to our community. New Hampshire is home to roughly 1,500 homeless, with 23% of them being right here in Merrimack County. Our yearly food drive aims to support the people living right here in our home town by donating food to the Friendly Kitchen and clothing to the Concord Homeless Resource Center. And by donating to our drive, you’ll get more than just the satisfaction of giving back. If you would prefer to watch rather than read, click here.

What you could win

If you’re a member and you donate to either the clothing or food drive, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a free month. The more you donate, the more entries you will get.

If you’re not a member and you donate, you’ll be entered in to a drawing to win a free six months membership ($1,043 value). Even if you don’t win the drawing, you will still get one month free if you join for a period of 3 months or greater!

When the Drive is Happening

The Drive is running from 10-29-19 thru 11-26-19. We will do the drawing for the prizes the following week.

What to donate

Any and all clothes that are new or safe, wearable condition. Any non perishable food. Keep in mind coming in to winter warm clothes are always needed, especially for children and adolescents. In the past people have also donated

  • Grocery store gift cards
  • new pairs of socks, gloves and undergarments
  • Hats, boots, and blankets

Anything you think would helpful for those who may not have a regularly available shelter, or food to eat.

We hope that you’ll help us in making a difference in our community. If you have any question please contact me directly: Tony@arkitectfitness.com
